A French-Inspired Garden and Home by Judith Stringham

Concrete Urn and Ivy

Monday, May 6, 2013

Recently this beautiful
concrete urn
came to live at my house.

So Jeanne D'Arc Living looking...
So French Country looking...

My inspiration...
French Inspirations by Jeanne D'Arc Living

I'm adding
more and more white
and more and more au naturel as spring turns into summer.

So far, the urn and the ivy.

With a little moss added...

Add a large grey ceramic heart...

Add lobelia
in beautiful sky blue.
My favorite color in one of my favorite flowers.

Add the throw pillow with a bird sitting amidst
blue flowers.

Moving the heart around...
Hmmm...think I'll move it back to the base of the urn.

Thinking about adding wild angel hair vines around the urn...

But for today,
I like the clean au naturel look of
the white urn on the white blanket box
with blue flowers, green moss, and green ivy.

The bird pillow is from Pottery Barn.
The gray ceramic heart is from my shop, Botanic Bleu.

I'm following. Anyone who could write the comment you left for me today on my Camelot post is definitely worth knowing and enjoying. Mansfield, Texas. All of us Texans have so much in common, I think. Thank you for the wisdom and thank you for seeing the depth in my post. You are brilliant.

Yes, you're right... VERY Jeanne d'Arc looking! And what a lucky find! The beauty of this piece is that there are so many different ways to decorate with it! My mind is swirling with ideas!!

You are kind. Thank you. I've been reading Splenderosa's "By Invitation Only" for several weeks, and I thoroughly enjoy all the different views brought by the participants.

I am following in return. I always like finding another Texas blogger with whom to become friends.
