Change is the only constant in life.
Heraclitus, Greek Philosopher

We, Judith, Katie, and Eilis, realize the time has come to end Monday Social.

We want to say,

"Thank you,"

to our faithful participants each week.

We have had a core of loyal followers from the beginning

in this experiment of a different kind of linking party where

links to Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram were accepted

in addition to links to blogs.

We appreciate you more than words alone can express.

We have loved hosting this party.

We have grown as bloggers,

and our blogging friendships have grown as well.

Isn't that what parties are all about?
Making new friends and strengthening ties with old friends.

is this week's hostess and picked the features this week.

Sarah at Hyacinths For The Soul shared this flag image on Pinterest.

Sheila shared this gorgeous blue and white plate on Instagram.

Corner of Plaid shared this succulent tablescape
I love it.

That is a wrap.
No link-up.

I finished my 26 year teaching career yesterday.
I'll have some thoughts about that in the coming weeks once I can process it all.
I'll also have some fun purse projects to share.
Bill and I are working on a sponsored post coming up in a month or so.
We have our cocktail ottoman fail to share.
One of my first projects this summer is a dining room redo.
I'll still be blogging so keep coming by to visit and comment.
I'll be by to visit your blogs now that I'll have more time.
Thank you for all of you that participated in Monday Social.
You are the best!

Now a few words from Judith...

All of us plan to continue blogging
and will be popping by to see what you are sharing.
Thank you for joining the party each week and
for all the kind, supportive comments on each week's party.

If you are coming to the party at Botanic Bleu
I invite you to visit

also for this final party.

If you do not already follow both of them,
I highly encourage you to follow them so you never miss their latest posts.

Mary at The Boondocks blog,
Thank you, Mary, for adding an international view each week to our party. Because I lived on Cyprus while my husband was in the Navy, I always have a special interest in your posts and perspective. I love seeing your photos that show your Greek town and plan to continue popping over to The Boondocks Blog.

Rita C. at Panoply,
Thank you for joining Monday Social on a regular basis. Since we underwent remodeling at the same time, I feel a special kinship to you because you understood so much what it's like. I, too, am grateful that our linky party brought us together to get to know one another better. Panoply is another blog that I plan to continue reading.

Judith, you girls offered a unique party, and I'm grateful for each of you and time and effort to host. Monday Social was in my mind the best kind of party. I like diversity, and this venue provided a wonderful way to connect quickly and easily with those who share an interest. I appreciate having a feature on this last Monday Social, as I've greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness each time you all selected one of my links to be featured. Thank you, thank you!
All the best to each of you as you move on to other projects, as I know each of you are very innovative and creative. I wish Katie, a joyful retirement as she opens this next chapter in her life. As you and I know first hand, leaving the classroom is bittersweet, but oh so liberating with time to lunch with friends, pursue hobbies and projects, and to travel anytime of the year.
Obviously our friendships will keep us close in touch. Again, thank you for hosting and thank you for being such a special blogging buddy!

Good morning Judith, I am quite new to your party, but I have really enjoyed my visits and will continue to pop by to say hello.
As far as retiring is concerned it will feel strange at first because your day has been filled to the brim.... but believe me, now you are retired your days will continue to be filled to the brim, it will just feel strange at first because your routine has changed. I love retirement. My days are full as yours will be. Embrace this new stage in your life.... there is so much to enjoy.
Best Wishes to you.
